I went to see Black Joe Lewis with a couple of friends last week and had a blast. While we all agreed Black Joe was fun, it was the opener, Burnside & Malcolm, that stole the show with their old school southern blues. It wasn’t at all surprising to learn afterward that Cedric is the grandson of the late, great R.L. Burnside

Elvis Costello - Brilliant Disguise (Springsteen cover)
“Spectacle: Elvis Costello with…” is definitely one of TV’s better shows. Looking forward to its second season — most notably, Costello’s interview and performances with Springsteen. Some good clips here.
